Recreation Questions

1) Why did you choose this particular recreation and how does it link to your main production?
BBC Click documentary on games and how developers create and publish games in the industry, links in with video games my critical investigation topic.

2) What difficulties did you face in producing this recreation?
  • Having the wrong lens
  • Having all the actors at once
  • Zooming in the camera smoothly 
  • Panning shots where tripod cannot be placed (improvise by using books etc.)
  • Keeping the same lighting exposure in each shot
  • Keeping camera steady free hand
3) What are the strengths of the production?
  • I got the right mis en scene for the recreation scenes
  • Same shot types
  • Acting is identical

4) What aspects would you look to improve?
  • Being more prepared for the shot, having the right lens attached. 
  • Instead of zooming in use adobe premier pro to zoom (smooth transition)

5) What lessons will you take from this process that will help you with your main production?
  • Have back up actors in case some cant make it
